A section of Ceredigion coastal path between Aberaeron and Aberarth has fallen away and has been closed.
Members of the public are asked to keep away in case of any further movement.
Ceredigion County Council staff have been on site. Signs and barriers have been put in place preventing the public from using the path.
A temporary diversion is in place whilst officers inspect the area further an establish a more long term solution.
Sections at either end of the path will remain open; however it will not be possible to travel along its whole length and those looking for a through route between Aberaeron and Aberarth (or vice versa) are asked to consider using the roadside pavement or alternatively the route along the beach at low tide identified on the map.
