Four takeaway premises in Aberystwyth have had their Premises Improvement Notices terminated after being monitored by officers from Ceredigion County Council’s Public Protection Team.

Premises Improvement Notices were recently issued to Domino’s Pizza, Hot Dumplings, Hollywood Pizza and Star Fried Chicken in Aberystwyth due to alleged non-compliance with the Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions) (No. 4) (Wales) Regulations 2020.

The notices have been terminated after monitoring confirmed that face coverings are being worn by staff members when working in the public areas or in close proximity to other staff.

Premises that fail to comply with a Premises Improvement Notice may be issued a Premises Closure Notice, Fixed Penalty Notice of £1,000, or both.

Information for businesses is available on the Council’s website.
