For the first time Cered: Menter Iaith Ceredigion, Cardigan Library and Cardi Iaith worked together to create a Story Hunt for children in the Cardigan area.

The competition was held over February half term with over 60 children searching the streets of Cardigan for books in the shop windows.

Rheinallt Lewis on behalf of Cardigan Library said: "It was great to work with Cered and Cardi Iaith, hopefully we can work together again soon. Thank you to Cardigan businesses for supporting our competition and congratulations to all the children who took part in making the hunt a success. We hope to see you all soon at Cardigan library.”

Winning the top prize of Kindle Fire 7 was Rhys Morgan. In second place was Freya Voller receiving an Awen Teifi book token. Winning the third place was Clara Thomas receiving a voucher for Cardigan Bay Brownies.

Siriol Teifi said on behalf of Cered: Menter Iaith Ceredigion: "Seeing the number of entries was so encouraging, we hope to continue with the story hunt across the county."

Thanks to the town's businesses for their willingness to display the clues in their windows.
