Welsh Water have announced that they are experiencing operational issues in Cardigan, Lampeter, Llandysul, Aberaeron and surrounding areas of West Wales which is affecting the supply to customers in this area.
Water stations
Welsh Water have set up water stations at the following locations:
- Mart Car Park, Newcastle Emlyn, SA38 9BA
- St Tysul Church, Llandysul, SA44 4QN
- Fairfield Car Park (swimming pool), Cardigan, United Kingdom, SA43 1EJ
- Penmorfa, Aberaeron, SA46 0PA
*Remember to take a container with you to carry the water. You will need to boil the water.
Closures
Some schools across the county are closed due to the lack of water supply, including:
- Ysgol Talgarreg
- Ysgol Bro Teifi
- Ysgol Uwchradd Aberaeron
- Ysgol Gynradd Aberteifi closing 1:30pm, 21.12.2022
Aberaeron Leisure Centre will also be closed.
