Community venues across Ceredigion will close in line with the coronavirus firebreak period announced by the Welsh Government.

This includes community centres, village halls, church and chapel buildings, but venues which provide essential services for the public, including childcare, foodbanks and health clinics will remain open.

The firebreak period will begin at 6pm on Friday, 23 October 2020, and come to an end at midnight on Monday 9 November 2020.

If you have any questions or need to check whether your activity is permitted during the Firebreak period, please contact Ceredigion County Council on 01545 570881 or the CAVO Team on 01570 423232, e-mail gen@cavo.org.uk and your query will be considered by the Ceredigion Public Services Board Advisory Panel.

If your building remains closed, the Ceredigion Panel has produced a useful checklist to help you maintain your premises in preparation for reopening, which can be found here: Guidance for Community Venues
