Making small and inexpensive changes to your daily routine can make a big difference to your health.
You may have seen the recent television adverts on Change4Life which is a campaign that is targeted at families and children and has a welcome pack which has loads of ideas and help to give families a happier healthier future. It doesn't have to be hard or expensive - there are lots of little changes you can make - such as walking some of the way to work / or making sure your snacks are healthy. Some other things, such as quitting smoking are a little harder but there are simple steps you can take to help you get there.
These free bilingual information packs are now available to families and children in Wales through the Health Challenge Wales order line. The pack contains:
- Health Challenge Wales 5-a-day booklet and postcard
- The handbook for healthy, happy kids
- A 5-a-day wall chart and some fruit and veg stickers
- Sheets of fun stickers
There is also a free skipping rope or Frisbee supplied with each pack.
These packs are available to all families in Wales – one per family. Telephone 0845 606 4050 to order your free pack. The order line is open Monday to Friday 9:00 to 17:00.
