Since October 2007, in England, Scotland and Wales, it is illegal to sell tobacco to anyone under the age of 18.

Ceredigion County Council and partners; Stop Smoking Wales, Public Health Wales, Hwyel Dda Health Board and the Children and Young Peoples Partnership have assisted in drawing up an action plan to address issues relating to tobacco control in the county.
