Health and Safety

A brief outline of the duties carried out by the Health & Safety Team

Welcome to the Health & Safety Team web pages. The team is committed to protecting the health and safety of employees and non-employees in Ceredigion. This is achieved by means of advice and training, investigation, regulation and inspection.

The team is responsible for enforcing the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and associated Regulations across a wide range of premises including shops, restaurants, warehouses, leisure and cultural premises in the County. We also work with other agencies and organisations e.g. the HSE to contribute towards health for all.
