You May Have Priority:

You May Have Priority Need If:

You have at least one dependent child.

or

You are pregnant.

or

You have become homeless as a result of domestic violence.

or

You have become homeless as a result of a disaster such as fire or flood.

or

You are vulnerable because of one of the following reason:

Old age Aged 16 or 17 years old Aged between 18 and 21 years and previously in care Mental illness or handicap Physical disability Victim of violence or harassment Former member of the armed forces Former prisoner Any other special reason

Priority need will also apply to people who may normally live with you or anyone who we accept should reasonably be expected to live with you.

IF YOU ARE HOMELESS, ELIGIBLE AND IN PRIORITY NEED THEN THE COUNCIL MUST ENSURE YOU ARE OFFERED SUITABLE TEMPORARY ACCOMMODATION WHILST IT COMPLETES IT ENQUIRIES.
