Basic Library Service

Library membership is free and there is no cost to borrow books, use computers nor to use any reference resources. When you join the library you undertake to return borrowed items within an agreed time, otherwise a system of fines will come into operation.

Books (up to 20 books at a time)

Free of charge for 4 weeks. You may renew books up to 3 times only provided no-one else has requested the book.
After such time, unless the loan is renewed overdue items are charged at the rate:

• Adults 10p per day up to a maximum of £5.00 per item
• Children No charge

Reservation Fee

Free for items obtained from within Wales.
£5.00 per item from outside Wales.
