Ceredigion Social Services offers a comprehensive range of personal and practical/re-ablement care services for adults who have met the Unified Assessment's criteria within the county of Ceredigion, to enable them to continue living in the community, in accordance with their own lifestyle, and with independence, safety and respect.

Domiciliary Care

The service is subject to charges set annually by the Local Authority.  An information booklet on charges is available on request. The service is available from 7.00 am to 10.00 pm 365 days a year.  Services are provided after an assessment of need has been made.

Residential Care

Ceredigion Social Services offers a choice of seven Residential Care Homes with services for adults (65+). The service is subject to charges set by the Welsh Assembly Government under the 'Charging Regulations and Guidance'. The service is available 24 hours a day 365 days a year.  Services are provided after an assessment of need has been made.

Day Care

Ceredigion Social Services provides Day Care with our own Residential Homes, with the Private/Voluntary Sector, as well as our Day Care Centres throughout the County.  The service is subject to charges set annually by the Local Authority.  An information booklet on charges is available on request. The service is available from 08:45 am to 05.00 (04:30 Fridays) pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).  Services are provided after an assessment of need has been made.
