The Local Housing Authority's statutory role in respect of the homeless as well as homelessness prevention and housing options work are undertaken within the department. The establishment of appropriate development programmes to assist in meeting housing need for the developing Housing Associations operating within Ceredigion also comes within the remit of the department.
