Social Services are required to assess people who may require community care services, and to decide what, if any services they should arrange to meet those needs. Services provided range from advice, to arranging care and support for individuals in their own homes, in a Residential or Nursing setting, or elsewhere.
There is a charge for some of the Services provided, and the amount payable is dependent on the person's financial status.
