Ystyriwyd Adroddiad Cyfarwyddwr y Gwasanaethau Amgylcheddol a Thai ar y cynnydd arfaethedig i ffioedd Cofrestru ar gyfer Tai Mewn Meddiant Lluosog.

PENDERFYNIAD

Y dylid cynyddu’r Ffi Cofrestru i £60 yr ystafell y gellir byw ynddi (neu £30 yr ystafell y gellir byw ynddi ar ail-gofrestru) gyda’r ffi uchaf wedi ei gynyddu i £600 yr eiddo (o’r £300 cyfredol)

Rheswm dros y penderfyniad:- er mwyn

1. cynyddu arian incwm er sicrhau y gellir rhedeg a darparu adnoddau’n fwy effeithiol i’r Cynllun Cofrestru;

2. cynorthwyo wrth sefydlu a throsglwyddo i’r darpariaethau trwyddedu newydd ar gyfer Tai mewn Meddiant Luosog o dan Ddeddf Priffyrdd 2004.

Registration Fees for Houses in Multiple Occupation

Consideration was given to the Report of the Director of Environmental Services and Housing upon proposed increase to Registration fees for Houses in Multiple Occupation.

DECISION

That the Registration Fee is increased to £60 per habitable room (or £30 per habitable room, on re-registration) with the maximum charge increased to £600 per property (from the current £300)

Reason for decision:- in order to:-

1. increase funding income to enable the current Registration Scheme to be more effectively resources and run;

2. assist in setting up and the transition to the new licensing provisions for HMO’s under the 2004 Housing Act.

Proposed Fee Increase for Export Certificate

Consideration was given to the Report of the Director of Environmental Services and Housing upon proposed increases in fees for an Export License for exporting food products to EU and non-EU countries.

DECISION

To increase the fee in respect of Export Certificate and health declarations to £20.00 (per consignment) for 2005/06.

Reason for decision:- to ensure that all reasonable costs associated with the issuing of export certificates and health declarations are recovered.

It was RESOLVED that the public and press be excluded from the Meeting during the consideration of the matter referred to in Minute C384 below owing to the likely disclosure of exempt information as contained in Paragraphs 4, 5 and 7 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972.

Ystyriwyd Adroddiad Cyfarwyddwr y Gwasanaethau Corfforaethol a Chyfreithiol ar amryw gais am gefnogaeth tuag at geisiadau Amcan 1 sydd angen cyfraniadau LRF.

PENDERFYNIADAU

Cymeradwyo’r ceisiadau fel a ganlyn:-

i) dyrannu £225,000 o’r LRF; arian ar gyfer prosiect RTC 93/05/LAS ym mlwyddyn ariannol 2006/07 yn ogystal â chyfraniad cyfredol o £100k LRF;

ii) rhoi llythyr ffurfiol o gefnogaeth ar gyfer RTC 92/05/SWT a chytuno i ddyrannu £258.488 arian LRF i’r prosiect sy’n cynnwys darpariaeth ar gyfer TAW na ellir ei hawlio yn ôl ; a

(iii) nodi bod cais RTC94/05/CCA wedi ei dynnu yn ôl.

Rheswm dros y penderfyniad:- hyrwyddo ffyniant economaidd.

Objective 1 applications

Consideration was given to the Report of the Director of Corporate and Legal Services upon requests for support towards Objective 1 applications requiring LRF contributions.

DECISIONS

To approve the requests as follows:-

(i) to allocate £225,000 of the LRF; funding to project RTC 93/05/LAS in 2006/07 financial year in addition to the existing contribution of £100k LRF;

(ii) to issue a formal letter of support for RTC 92/05/SWT and agree to allocate £258,488 LRF funding to the project which includes provision for non recoverable VAT; and

(iii) to note that application RTC94/05/CCA had been withdrawn.

Reason for decision:- to promote economic prosperity.
