Dug ditches in the winter

Would also weed and pick vegetables 

He couldn't read the time but knew to the minute when to have lunch

He would take days off to visit the local pub or to call at various farms for tea

Spent his last days at Penlanwnws, Bwlchyllan and became a Chapel goer

He died at Tregaron Hospital

He was 75 years old

He was buried at Bwlchllan cemetery on November 15th 1861
