Beulah area

Born in Hirwaun, Glamorganshire

Lost his arm after being hit by a car when he was on his way home from the local public house

He started drinking after suffering trauma when he was a soldier during the First World War 

Had a good tenor voice and he would sing for a few coins. He sang 'Where is my wandering boy tonight', with tears rolling down his cheeks.

He would also recite 'Iet y Clos'

He spent his last months being cared for by the Pantdaniel Farm family and died in Lampeter workouse on May 15th 1958
