There are three broad strands of EU funding that come into the County

Convergence funding\| A funding programme reserved for the less well developed economies of the European Union including West Wales and The Valleys	Rural Development Plan Funding\| Funding to support the countryside and rural communities, encouraging the sustainable management of agriculture and the environment
Other EU Funding Strands\| There are a variety of other EU funds that the County Council has some involvement with in an advisory role
